Yard Waste: We compost it and it’s going to improve Nebraska’s soil
Many companies let you mix yard waste in with your landfill. While convenient, that means it’s going to the landfill and will put off methane gas for years to come. Instead, we have the Omaha Metro Area’s only industrial composting facility, so we collect yard waste separately and turn it into soil at our Ashland site, Soil Dynamics Composting Farm.
Here’s what we take:
Only trees, grass, and plant material accepted, please
No plastic, glass, metal or other landfill material
Everyone gets 20% off our Soil & Mulch
Since your residents help to create it, they’ll get to enjoy an annual 20% discount on any soil and mulch order from our Soil Dynamics affiliate: Shop here.
Cleaner Air and Streets
Now that you are moving to one day a week for collection, you’ll see improved curb appeal, increased safety, reduced noise pollution and less wear and tear on the streets.
As well, we’ve been converting our fleet over to compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks, which mean your neighborhood’s air quality & street cleanliness are automatically improved with our choice in vehicles. Plus our renewable & domestic fuel-source is supporting Americans.
