Curbside Rewards is Gone, but Your recycling Program Continues!
If you’re here, chances are you received a letter from First Star about Curbside Rewards going away on March 1, 2025.
The good news is that you can continue to recycle with the same container you have now. Gretna Sanitation (us) has actually been your hauler for this program the whole time.
Here is what you need to know:
Pickup schedule: We’re making some changes to reduce our carbon foot print/gas we use to service your bin.
Monday Blue changes to Friday Green (Bennington, Elkhorn & West Omaha)
Final pickup for Monday Blue = February 24th
First pickup for Friday Green = March 7th
Tuesday Blue changes to Thursday Green (Elkhorn & West Omaha)
Final pickup for Tuesday Blue = February 25th
First pickup for Thursday Green = March 6th
Papillion and LaVista schedules will not change. Calendars with highlighted recycle dates linked here :: calendars
Recycling guidelines stay the same! Please use the Omaha Recycling Guide anytime you have questions.
If you have unused Recycle Bank Points, call Recycle Bank directly at 1-800-727-2978 to see about redeeming them. Points will discontinue after March 1, 2025.
